Resume : Ce manga est tiré du roman chinois Shui Hu Zhuan.

En 1112, en Chine, durant la dynastie Sung, le gouvernement peine à contrôler les seigneurs des diverses provinces qui se mettent à s'enrichir sur le dos des habitants. Le pays sombre peu à peu dans la dictature : le peuple souffre de plus en plus.

Taisou est un épéiste connu sous le nom de "l'Etoile filante". Il est indigné par la situation actuelle de son pays et décide de réunir les 108 hors-la-loi du groupe Taiten Gyôdô. Ces brigands, dépouillant les seigneurs qui abusent de leur autorité, sont sans doute les seuls à pouvoir rétablir l'ordre dans le pays.
